Amazon lodges
The Amazon lodges are special, authentic and comfortable. Everything - except the toilets and showers - are hand crafted by the Chujandama clan in their native style.
Every double room in the Maloca is named after a healing plant that is used by the natives. The natives are experts in the use of their plants, and the story of each plant (as per your room) will be available. Rooms are also decorated by local artists, and if you like their work, you can buy their art and support them.
Each Amazon Lodge is protected against entry of animals. Each accommodation has beds with supreme quality mattresses, high quality linens, a table and chairs. High quality mosquito nets insure a comfortable and insect-free sleep. Hot water and electricity (limited time) is available.
At night we sit in the open dining area talking and laughing with each other. Or reading, as there will be light via candles, solar lamps and fire flies!
